When I give my home selling clients a listing presentation, I always ask them about the age of the systems in their house and their roof—the newer the systems and roof, the better. If you have a roof that’s about 10 or 15 years old with 25-year-old shingles on it, that’s not too old; you might need to do some minor repairs, but you shouldn’t have any issues selling your home.
