一遍聖繪 －部分拡大版－
絵巻の十二巻・四十八段にわたって当人の足跡を辿った場面が展開されていますが、そこには当時（鎌倉時代中期）の都鄙の風景や人々の生活ぶりが極めてリアルに描かれています。
この「部分拡大版」は、それらの数多くの興味深い描写の中から数箇所を選び、それらを部分的に拡大したものです。

Japanese narrative picture scroll depicting major events in the life of priest Ippen (1239 -1289), who founded the Ji sect of Buddhism, consisting of twelve volumes and forty-eight sections.

Ippen hijiri-e - partially enlarged version -
The scenes which trace his footsteps are spread out in twelve volumes and forty-eight sections of this picture scroll, the landscapes and the people’s way of life at that time which the wandering priest would have encountered during his travels are brought vividly to life in this work.
This “partially enlarged version” is the work consisting of the several scenes selected from those many interesting depictions and partially enlarged.
