While tensions were at their highest between singer and bass player, and drummer and bass player (look at Hughie's face on "Waiting for the Sun"), the plucky quartet managed to put in this reasonably good set at the Yorkshire Lass on July 14 1994. As usual at the time it was captured on VHS by the landlord, Peter, who always handed the tape over at the end of the night. Starting the tape was an adventure for Peter, juggling his time serving customers at the very busy bar, and rushing into the side room to press "record" at the right moment. Good effort this time. This gig and the one at the Hollybush in Skelton the next night were also recorded on 4-track. The result was "released" on a cassette called "Toad Abuse". Try looking for THAT on eBay!
