The Classic Old Fashioned
1 sugar cube
2 dashes of angostura bitters
1 bar spoon of water (I use distilled water 1/4 tsp up to 1 teaspoon)
1.5 ounces bourbon or rye whiskey (you can also use the spirit of your choice such as, a dark rum)
1 large ice cube or 3-5 smaller ice cubes
1 orange peel garnish
1 cocktail cherry (optional)
