How to Consistently Get a 1|4' Seam Allowance | #sewbecca #sewingtips #tutorial Are your blocks coming out a different size than what you expect, even though you are POSITIVE you accurately measured your fabric when you cut? It could be a result of an improper seam allowance! Not all 1/4" seams are created equal, and can vary from project to project, quilter to quilter, and machine to machine. It's a good idea to familiarize yourself with your machine when you begin a project with new materials so you know EXACTLY where to feed your fabric to get that true quarter inch result! In this video, I share with you my tips & tricks for fine-tuning my machine to produce the right seam allowance.
