National general secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Ram Madhav informed that if state governments bring up good projects for the welfare of their respective states, they will get assistance from centre. He said, “In this budget, we made special efforts to give compulsory support to the states based on their performance. If the performance of state government is good, Centre is ready to give them further assistance. For example in area of fisheries, water resources and solar energy we have given enormous allocation. In a state like Odisha, where water scarcity is an issue, if state government introduces good projects, then centre is ready to give complete assistance.”
