The sacred art of holding space How often do we receive unsolicited advice, especially around "being positive"? How often do we give it to others without being asked for it ? Giving and receiving advice can be very hurtful to people that are not seeking it, and only want a safe space to speak about what they are going through. Jumping to fix something is almost always a bad idea! Learning to hold space can reward us in ways we may not be able to comprehend until we feel the transformation power for holding space on all parties involved.
