Finally, I put motors on the big 3D printed tank! I made an 8:1 reduction box made from sprockets that run chains so they don't break as has happened before with belts. I'm pretty happy with the reduction boxes and the motor power but the mix of sensorless motors and those VESCs is not very good for precision and control so I'm planning a small change that I hope will make a huge difference. The VESCs were down-powered to 10% power and motor RPM because I have had a few scares in the pasts with those and didn't want to risk a crash in the first test. There's plenty of power on the motors, those are 4000W motors and we'll hopefully put all that power to good use soon. Enjoy!
