SideFX Houdini - Ultimate Terrain Workflow | Part02 - Dune setup & Tool creation I have been working on a terrain workflow in Houdini 18 for my shortfilm, I have a lot of huge landscape to generate with very little resources. So it was important for me to find way to optimize the creative process while maintaining production quality.

In this video I am breaking down how I generated dune driven by curves. We are using a bunch of different techniques like sweep operation, pointvop network to reach the desired result.

I will show next how to create the volcanic wall on top of that ridge.
