The National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) formally disbanded today. This has brought an end to a 34 year long armed rebellion that began after the formation of NDFB under the leadership of Ranjan Daimary or DR Nabla on October 3, 1986.
NDFB leaders Dhiren Boro, B Saoraigwra and B Anjalu brought down the NDFB flag at the groups designated camp at Sonaigaon in Udalguri district.
