I did mention this in an earlier video but this time I thought I would go out to a place I have never been before without WiFi and check it 100%.
When I returned home I did connect to WiFi and the "MapBox" mapping did fill in more with more road names and structures but the basic roads etc were there.
It actually acts as a better Orientation Gauge than the supplied white circle one at the bottom middle of the screen. So if you want instant orientation to the Home point, simply click on the map and you can see where the MM is in relation to where you are.
The Parrot, Hubsan and Fimi products have no such luxury... no Internet... No Map... you have to pre-cache it.
Sorry the screen was so small... I was trying Mobezen and started it in portrait mode. It orients its size to whatever you start recording in. If I had started Mobizen after I got into the DJI Fly App, it would have been full screen landscape instead of this mini portrait size.
Again... Sorry for the poor quality but I hope the point still was made.
