A force can change the shape and volume of an object. This is one of the effect of force.
Examples of Forces that change the shape of the objects:
(i) Force of compression acting on the walls of an inflated balloon when it is pressed between our hands.
(ii) The force acting on the dough when we roll a chapati/roti.
(iii) The force acting on a spring or a rubber band when we stretch it.
(iv) Force acting on two moving vehicles when they collide.
