Why you should be using your tripod head the 'wrong' way - Bird Photography Equipment - Jan Wegener For the last few years, whenever I took other people out to take bird photos, I noticed that they were using their tripod heads opposite to me. The way, which most manufacturers show you. Today, I want to show you why I think that's wrong and hinders your ability to take the most amazing bird photos. As bird photographers, we know that most birds give you the best pose right after landing, so if you lose valuable time because you are blocked by your gimbal head, you might miss the shot of a lifetime!
