Factories are opening, and suppliers will be taking your orders, but many buyers won't want to travel to China any time soon (understandably), or, even if they did, probably won't be given access to suppliers' factories which are operating a strict 'no visitors' policy to help control infection.
But your products are going to be produced, so you need to make sure that product inspections are still possible.
The good news is that Sofeast is still at work and we have 3 innovative ways to check product quality without inspectors needing to be on-site, or limiting their movement in factories to a suitable area only.
1. Inspect in a cordoned-off area of a factory which protects both inspector and factory staff (more likely to be possible in larger factories). Can check lab tests with live video.
2. Have the products/materials shipped to our facilities in South China or Shanghai where we can inspect (random or 100%) them as normal. Defectives will be returned to the factory and then re-inspected again. Can provide this in other areas of China if required, too.
3. Work with key suppliers to train them (can be online) to self-inspect capably and reliably using the SynControl quality inspection app. This can complement usual product inspections, or, in some cases where there is no access, replace them.
