Singapore monitoring harbour craft sector to ensure operators get support amid virus outbreak

Singapore authorities are monitoring the harbour craft sector closely to ensure operators get the support they need to tide through the COVID-19 outbreak. Senior Minister of State for Transport, Dr Lam Pin Min, said this during a meeting with sector representatives at Marina South Pier on Feb 20. It was announced in the Budget that the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore will give a 50% port dues concession to passenger vessels from March.
