Not everything is what it seems, step back and see the wider picture. Project “SafeNet” is implemented by New Vision – Albania in cooperation with Club for Youth Empowerment 018 (KOM 018) – Serbia, Udruga “Impress” Daruvar – Croatia, Beyond Borders – Italy, Red Cross Novo Sarajevo – Bosnia and Herzegovina and SPPMD – North Macedonia. The overall idea of the project is to empower youth workers in the field of youth safety focusing on specific segments of safety: peer violence, cyber bullying, radicalization and extremism as well as abuse of psychoactive substances and alcohol. Project consortium developed “SafeNet” project idea in order to contribute to the development of a safety culture of young people and strengthening the cooperation between institutions and civil society in addressing youth security and safety issues in Europe.

General objective:
To contribute to the development of a security culture of young people and strengthening the cooperation between institutions and civil society in addressing youth security and safety issues in 6 participating countries

Specific objectives:
• To equip youth workers with set of new educational tools in the field of youth safety
• To activate young people to take active role in the promotion of safe behavior and safety culture
• To provide set of recommendations on security and safety issues, created by young people for young people
• To raise the awareness about security and safety issues in local communities in participating countries
