When renovating on a limited budget, yes of course you are going to have to be very smart with each and every design decision. However, you also want to be smart. Identify the right areas where you can scale back but also do not forget about trying to address areas that may be issues or obstacles for potential buyers. In this video, I use an example from one of No Nonsense Renovations where the original kitchen design would not allow for a Full-Size Refrigerator to be installed without blocking the garage entry door into the Kitchen. No buyer is going to accept that, especially at the price point we are targeting for our backend sales price. We had to relocate the fridge and even though it cost us a few hundred dollars to do so, it was the right decision. We were able to identify alternative areas to save money to offset the cost of the fridge relocation. This is crucial to understand if you are going to be successful in flipping homes. Yes, you are going to have limited budgets but that does not mean you can’t make the right decisions and improves areas of the home to make them more functional. Good luck Renovating!!!
