GANG INVOLVED IN CHEATING IN THE NAME OF ALLOTTING DOUBLE BED ROOM HOUSES BURSTED BY CYBERABAD POLICE The double bedroom housing programme is a prestigious welfare programme taken up by the Telangana State Government.The Telangana Government has been constructing double bedroom houses in various places of state including in Bahadurpally of Dundigal Police Station Area. The gang taking advantage of this has been cheating public in the name of allotting double bed room houses.
On 28-12-2019 received a complaint from one Busaraju Lalitha, R/o: Suraram Colony was cheated by the fraudsters in the name of allotting 2 BHK house for an amount of Rs 1,60,000/- A case was booked vide crime number 810/2019 of Dundigal PS.
The investigation was taken up by local Dundigal Inspector and staff assisted by SOT Inspector Sudheer and his team under the supervision of DCP Balanagar Smt. Padmaja, ADCP SOT Sandeep and ACP Petbasheerabad Narsimha Rao
On 08.02.2020, the following accused Persons were apprehended by the Cyberabad Police, Dundigal PS and being sent to judicial custody in this cheating case.

The Modus operandi of the gang is that Smt. Aela Laxmi (A-4) is having a tiffin center. She used to show allotment fake double bed room allotment letter to all her customers and known persons. People believed her allotment letter and started paying Smt. Aela Laxmi (A-4) and she started collecting Rs. 1,50,000/- from each customer.
From the amount received she used to take commission and then used to give the remaining amount to Palakollu Srinivas Rao (A-3). He also take part of the amount as commission and paid remaining amount to Aduri Murali Krishna Murthy (A-2) and Velisetty Venkata Sathya Krishna Vara Prasad (A-1).
He also collected individually Rs. 1,50,000/- from public and after taking commission and then paid amount to Velisetty Venkata Sathya Krishna Vara Prasad (A-1). Velisetty Venkata Sathya Krishna Vara Prasad (A-1) and Aduri Murali Krishna Murthy (A-2) are relatives. Aduri Murali Krishna Murthy (A-2) daughter is given to Velisetty Venkata Sathya Krishna Vara Prasad (A-1). Similarly Palakollu Srinivas Rao (A-3) also collected individually from public and paid it to Velisetty Venkata Sathya Krishna Vara Prasad (A-1). So, also Nagalla Krishna Rao (A-5) also collected amounts and paid to Velisetty Venkata Sathya Krishna Vara Prasad (A-1) through K.Srinivas (A-6). Thus taking advantage the fraudsters have cheated 169 victims and have collected Rs. 2,25,95,000/- from them.
Police investigation revealed that Venkata Sathya Krishna Vara Prasad (A-1) meanwhile consuming liquor in a local wines shop observed the discussion of two strangers regarding the fake allotment letter of double bed room homes. He requested them to take a photocopy of fake double bedroom allotment letter. With the help of one unknown person namely Venkat who is staying in Bowrampet learnt the art of making fake double bed room allotment letter. He then met his relative Aduri Murali Krishna Murthy (A-2) and convinced that he had very good contacts in secretariat and it is cake walk for him to bring the allotment letters of double bed room. Believing this Aduri Murali Krishna Murthy (A-2) had submitted 169 applications for the sanction of double bed room homes for this he had given an amount of Rs. 1,00,30,000/- (One crore Thirty thousand rupees).
