Drivers' Strike Impacts Schools Soca Chutney Monarch A strike by PTSC bus drivers left many children unable to attend the Schools' Chutney Soca Monarch Competition at the Queen's Park Savannah on Wednesday.

President of the National Chutney Foundation, Dr. Vijay Ramlal, expressed disappointment that the children were forced to miss the show.

However, he said he was still pleased that some schools made alternative arrangements for students to get to the Savannah.
