Configuring Binary Editor to Log Wideband O2 and Determining if Re-Calibration is Needed

Configuring Binary Editor to Log Wideband O2 and Determining if Re-Calibration is Needed Many foxbody and SN-95 mustang owners using a Moates QuarterHorse for tuning have opted to feed their wideband oxygen sensor's analog 5v output into the computer through what was originally the EGR signal return pin (commonly pin 27 on EEC-IV).

During a recent datalog review, I noticed an anomaly that suggests either the wideband is not correctly calibrated or that the Binary Editor is improperly configured and does not have the correct wideband transfer function.

In this video, I show you how to look at a log to determine if there may be an issue. Then I show you step by step how to configure Binary Editor to read your Wideband through the EGR signal return correctly, based off the data provided to you by the wideband manufacturer.
