Amber Heard Johnny Depp audio: Abuse, patience, broken promises, short-lived truce

Audio of a private conversation between ex-Hollywood couple, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp. The audio was originally released early this month by the Daily Mail and seems to support that Amber physically abused Johnny Depp.

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp had this conversation after a fight that appeared to have been physical. The cause of the fight was almost trivial but both admitted that it has has building for a while, at least from Amber's perspective. And it also appeared that, at the time, that Amber was resentful of Johnny Depp (or rather with his refusal to engage in physical altercations, preferring to walk away from them Amber thought that meant abandoning her and not caring enough for the relationship and marriage - they were still married at the time).

During the conversation, each told their grievances against the other. Amber seemed mad that Johnny always split any time she got physical during a fight. Amber claims the action hurts her. Johnny saexplain he had to do it to avoid getting physical. Amber also admits to have hit Johnny in the past. Both made a truce to work on the marriage with Johnny maintaining he would split if she started yelling and getting physical, to give either an hour to cool off. Amber agreed but asks Johnny to call her out when her behaviour gets out of hand. Johnny says he would try to help her.

From later developments, the marriage eventually collapsed probably partly because one or the other broke his or her promise.

What could have had an appearance of a peaceful breakup turned ugly after Amber implicitly accused Johnny Depp of physical abuse and claimed to have been abused by him. But these tapes show Amber to be a liar. Amber appears to be the physically violent person and abuser with Johnny Depp as her victim.

After the reasonably lowkey divorce, and $7m settlement on Amber, the actress implicitly accused Johhny Depp of domestic violence, via an op-ed. She implicitly accused Johnny Depp of physical abuse and claimed to have been abused by him. But leaked tapes show Amber Heard to be a liar. Amber appeared to have been the physically violent person and abuser with Johnny Depp as her victim.

Depp instituted a $50 million defamation lawsuit against Amber. The case is still ongoing. Amidst the fall out, Johnny Depp lost his lucrative Disney's Pirate of the Caribbeans role.

This audio appears to support Johnny Depp's claim that he was not physically violent against Amber.

Amber admitted multiple times, in the audio, that she, in fact, was the one who was the physically violent one. She admitted to hitting Johnny Depp.

Meanwhile, the social media is asking for justice for Depp with the hashtag - #JusticeForJohnnyDepp - trending recently.

There have also been calls for a boycott Amber endorsed products, and for Marvel to ditch her as Superhero Mera in Aquaman 2. Some feminists and champions of domestic abuse victims have also weighed in the debate on the suitability of Amber to be the face of humanitarian and these causes.
