Humanity is not limited to humans only, it is integral for animals too. In fact, not even just animals but the entire human race, that includes everything that carries emotions, that can breathe, that gives a sense of life. As citizens, as humans we all have our responsibilities associated with all that is living, to all that surrounds us.
Here, I present to you a story of our little champ, who managed to rescue the most loved species of all times, DOGS! These creatures covered in fur of different colours, making them super duper cute! Creatures that have always been loyal to humans, always in a mood to cheer you up, to be loved or to show love, and making sure to be your Watch-Guard at all times. Humans can be disloyal, humans can break your heart, but dogs never! They win over our hearts. Dogs are able to detect emotions very easily, in fact they are expressive too, and if I wasn’t allergic trust me I would adopt puppies, you would find them all around me.
Roman Mcgown belonging to Augusta had always found an affection towards animals. Also, since a very young age, to be specific as a four year old child, he always wanted to do something extra in life. He wanted to do something that would change lives, spread happiness. He wanted to be a source of love. Well, life sometimes treat such beautiful souls with the most harsh ways possible for the better good. So it did with this young fella.
On a busy Saturday, the kid lost his mother across the street.
Heavily loaded with emotions and not realizing about the traffic signals, Roman ran towards the other side of the road. The signal sign was yellow which just then turned green. As Roman was crossing the road, he did not realize a car was escalating at a tremendous speed towards him! On the blown horns it came to his attention but he was in a state of shock and disbelief. He stood in the middle, frozen, unable to comprehend the entire situation. Imagine a kid who can't find his mother, standing in the middle of a busy road with a car approaching at him with full speed! A crash was evident, the poor child's doom seemed inevitable but well, have you ever heard of miracles?
Roman that day wouldn’t have survived if it wasn't for a German Shepard and his instincts. The dog, with his heroics, came to the kid's rescue. He dragged the kid towards the footpath, a scene no less than one from an action movie, and saved him from what could've been the end of the trail for Roman. The Dog was able to save Roman until the driver pushed brakes and finally stopped at a point very close to both of them.
It was that moment that Roman instantly fell in love with the species. But well, this wasn’t the only thing that made Roman realized that he wanted to do something for dogs, but his love for them had always been eternal. Roman’s fourth birthday wishlist did not consist an Xbox or PSP, instead he requested people around him to donate money that could be given to Animal centers taking care of Animals in need. Roman considered himself to be indebted to the species. A dog saved his life and he felt like doing something similar which is why he, along with his siblings, began to save dogs.
