5G robots developed to reduce contact risk during virus outbreak

China's first 5G-powered patrolling robot for temperature measuring has just started operation in Guangzhou City, south China's Guangdong Province. The robots can not only check the temperatures of about 10 people simultaneously, but also monitor whether passersby are wearing masks or not. The robot reduces the risk of cross-infection from close contact when a person's temperature is measured.
