In this episode of The Lallantop Show, Saurabh Dwivedi talks about Delhi assembly elections. 22 year old allies Shiromani Akali Dal and Bharatiya Janata Party have parted ways in Delhi over CAA and election symbol. In a press conference, SAD leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that during three poll-related meetings with the BJP, his party was asked to consider its stand on CAA. According to sources SAD and BJP separated over election symbols. Earlier SAD in Delhi contested from Hari Nagar, Kalkaji, Rajouri Garden and Shahdara using the BJP symbol. But this time the party wanted to use its own symbol. BJP refused to accept the demand. Jan Nayak Janata Party will also not be fighting with the BJP in the upcoming elections. BJP also gives three seats to JD(U) and LJP. The Rashtriya Janata Dal will contest four seats in the ensuing Delhi elections in alliance with the Congress.
